The bus service will be available to and from some local towns and will be provided on request (with supplementary costs) for children aged 3 years and above.
For now, we will offer 2 routes (both in the morning and at the end of the school day):
● Leiria Route: Pousos - Leiria - School
● Coastal Route: Caldas - Valado dos Frades (Alcobaça) - Nazaré - Pataias - Martingança - Moita - School

The bus service we offer is safe and comfortable for children and transportation provided is on modern buses.
As well as making sure our buses are safe and comfortable, we plan the routes carefully to and from the campus to find the quietest routes; meaning less time spent in traffic.
For children under seven years of age, appropriate car seats should be provided by parents.

Bus rules
Students who use the bus service are expected to respect the following bus rules.
All passengers must wear seat belts at all times, whether the bus is in motion or stationary. The bus driver will not proceed until all students are belted up.
During morning pickups, students must be at the designated place, at the agreed upon time. If they are late, the bus driver will only wait a maximum of three minutes, and it becomes the parents’ responsibility to get the student to school.
Whenever a student does not need to use the bus service on a particular day, the parents are asked to inform the bus company at least 12 hours beforehand in order to avoid delays for other children.
All passengers are expected to stay seated at all times while on the bus.
If students are instructed by the bus driver to change seats, they must do so.
Students are to keep books/bags or other obstructions out of the aisles. If students have large packages/projects to bring to school which require more than the student’s seat, parents should provide transportation on that day. Animals must not be transported on school buses.
Students are to cross the street in front of the bus when entering and exiting, not behind the bus.
Students are to be courteous to others while waiting for the bus, and while entering, riding, and leaving the bus.
Proper bus behavior includes not distracting the driver, using a quiet voice, using acceptable language, using bus equipment properly and with permission only. Fighting on the bus, smoking, or foul language will not be tolerated. Failure to comply with the bus rules will be reported to the respective Principal, in which case, bus services may be suspended or removed.
Parents or other students not contracted to do so may not ride the bus.
All passengers must be on the bus by the designated departure time as the driver will leave promptly at that time. If a student is late, normal charges apply and it becomes the responsibility of the parent to get a child home.
