SEL TEACHER

Carrie Barbosa, a U.S.A. national, has been in education for over two decades and has advanced degrees in Education and Literacy. She has served as a teacher, coordinator, state leader, and educational consultant. Respect and community have always been central to her teaching and leading practice. She believes that building a trusting relationship is a necessary step in a student's education. Students who are understood as people and learners, feel seen and heard, and are part of a safe environment are set up for optimal success. In her spare time, Carrie enjoys reading, writing, traveling, and going on adventures with her dog Mel.
