Passionate about education, Delilah believes that teaching is all about inspiring and motivating students to reach their full potential. It is about creating a safe and supportive environment where students feel comfortable to express themselves and take risks in their learning. 

In her 27 years of experience as a teacher, coordinator and Head Teacher, one of the most rewarding aspects she has experienced is witnessing the growth and progress of her students, seeing their faces light up when they achieve the goals they have been working towards. Her students’ unique perspectives, experiences and questions have challenged her to think critically and be a lifelong learner herself. 

Teaching is not just a job for her; it is a lifelong vocation. Delilah feels grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of her students and takes great pride in being part of their educational journey here at LIS. She is reminded on a daily basis of the power of education and the incredible potential that lies within each and every student.
